Biography

Sarantis Mantzourakis was born to Greek parents in Hungary in 1967.

He is a Greek folk music and classical music artist as well as a singer and bouzouki artist.

He has concerts throughout Hungary and in several European countries (Austria, Germany, Greece, France, Italy, Belgium and Holland).

His performances and concerts include Greek folk and classical music from all over Greece. He delights his music loving audience with special folk and classical music musical compositions. He is the only performer in Europe representing the combination of Greek folk music, Greek classical music and classical music.

He first developed his musical skills privately as a self-taught musician. He starts his studies regarding Bouzouki music with renowned Greek teachers and later he completed his studies at the Conservatory of Peristeri Andrea Nikita- Athina Peristeri Odeion in Athens. He continued his studies at the Augustine Voloshin Carpathian University where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree, then his Master’s degree.

In Hungary, he has released 18 Greek folk music and 2 classical music albums.
